Gühring is a competent partner for mechanical engineering. Based on the 3D data of the workpiece, fixture and workspace, our original equipment department creates the complete machining process for an economical manufacturing of the components, including extensive simulations, support during the start of production and process optimisation.

Expertise in original equipment

Various Gühring-owned centres for original equipment (ZfE) also offer machine manufacturers expert service in process design and machine acceptance. In Germany alone, more than 200 Gühring employees work exclusively in the field of original equipment. In addition, there is an established Key Account Mechanical Engineering department that looks after our customers.

Together towards the process

The project analysis with the customer is the basis for the tool design and collision analysis involving the workpiece and fixture. The project department then supports the setup of the machine and its acceptance on site at the machine manufacturer. Our application technicians implement any process-related changes to the tools in close cooperation with the machine manufacturer in a timely manner. This service also includes the timely provision of comprehensive technical documentation.

On request, the technical field service team from the project department can be present during machine commissioning to carry out any necessary tool optimisations directly on site or to arrange and document them promptly. During series production, the Gühring technical field service team is also available at any time as contact for the user in order to solve any problems that may arise, quickly and in a customer-friendly manner. New findings from Gühring tool development are presented and, if necessary, implemented for the continuous optimisation of the manufacturing already running. The Gühring project team can be consulted not only for initial machine equipment, but also for the conversion adaptation of existing production systems to new workpieces and processes.

Throughout the entire process, our customers benefit from globally uniform technical standards, which are guaranteed by globally networked machine parks. They also benefit from technical support and assistance from internationally active experts, as well as short response times thanks to a global network of sales and production centres.
