Maximum speed is not only provided by the cutting tools from Gühring, but also by the employees: At the Danube relay race in Sigmaringen on 23 May 2023, 16 employees from the Gühring plant for taps (Plant 1, Laiz) took turns at running the relay. In this case, rather than having normal batons, these were shaped like different threading tools. The motto: “Threading tools – never change a running team”.
For ten years now, the city of Sigmaringen and Haus Nazareth have been inviting guests to this popular and well-attended charity event. The proceeds go to Haus Nazareth, who plan to use them to purchase equipment they lack in the field of experience-based education.
